SKETCH SATURDAY #44 & Challenge 22 at one stop craft challenge

This is my card for this weeks challenge over at Sketch Saturday and also for the bling tasticover at a one stop craft challenge. I loved working to this layout. I have used my new Gorguss Stamp from , which i coloured with my copic pens. I have used BG papers as backing paper and also to punch out my flowers so they co-ordinated well, i used my new Retro punches for the flowers and gems, brads and flowers al from stash.

Mother's day card(daughter made)

Happy Mother's Day to all those lovely mums out out there today hope you are all relaxing and enjoying. My daughter has been a busy bee for the past few days producing my beautiful Mother's Day card from her and the boys and what a cracking job she has done. defo following in my footsteps i think. I love pink, brown and Duckegg my favourite colours. She has used one of her new Magnolis Stamps from the NEC too bless her.

Challenge 6 (The Sugar Bowl) mother's day

This is for this weeks sugar bowl challenge sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/2009/03/challenge-6-mothers-day.html. I have used K&Co papers, black magic papers, bazzill card stock, MS punch, Easter Sugar nellie stamp new from the Nec last week just love the cute baby lamb which i used fluffy stuff on(but squashed it on the way home from my sisters) oops. Sherbet brads and flowers, clip etc from stash. I love these really pastel colours they are so spring looking and who wouldn't love a baby lamb for there mother's day(aghhhhhhh)

Challenge 11 (Pollycrafts)

This was Lynsey's first sketch and a great one to. I used my Pollycrafts Sherbet stamp for image and text (love them). BG sugared papers, brads and flowers from stash. I coloured with copics and promarkers.

Challenge 3 (truly Scrumptious)

This is my card for the above challenge. I have been quite daring myself as i do not normally do brights and boy is this bright but i love it. The image is the tiny one my daughter got from the NEC(bless her) I borrowed it (lol). The scrolls are my new ones also from the NEC. the papers are cupcakes and a bit of BG, i used my sisters MS Punch (til mine arrives), rbbons,charms and others bits from stash, used copics and promarkers to colour still can't decide which i prefer.

week 40 (PB SKETCH)

This is my entry for this weeks Penny black challenge. I have used K&Co Sparkly sweet papers, bazzill, cuttlebug dots emboss folder,ribbons, brads etc from stash and image is my new penny black stamp i bought last week from the NEC coloured with my new copics and used my new peraly stuff on the daisys and a bit of sparkle on the hammock.

Sisters card

This is the card i made for Olivia's birthday from her two younger brothers. Again it is another image from the NEC (i love these) think she looks a bit like Gabriella from high school musical. Anyway i have used BG papers, flowers from poppicrafts, chocolate and marshmellow from craftworkcards, chipboard letter and peeloffs and gems and other bits from stash.

Daughters Birthday Card

Well i am estatic at the results of this beautiful card i made for our Daughters 10th Birthday today(Happy Birthday Olivia)http://sparkles-and-sprinkles.blogspot.com/. please feel free to go and wish her happy birthday i know she'll be made up if you do. Well the image i got from the NEC last weekend, papers from stash, flowers from poppi crafts, embellishments also from stash

The inside of the card is 12x12 papers from stash and diecut text came with image on the front. The otherside i layered with paper and then puch the edge of a white piece of paper(will be much better when i receive my new MS punch i have won)then i randomly stamped a flower i had around the edge and printed a text with a stamp from Elzybelles i have had ages.

Mother's Day cards

I have made two of these beautiful cards one for my mum and one for my mother-in-law.

I love these already diecut pictures of the beautiful elegant ladies (just like myself) lol. Think it was DCWV glitter paper that i got at half price 35p for a 12x12(bargain) i used for the background, decoupaged the lady but forgot to take a side view so it looks flat and added various flowers(primas etc) from poppicrafts and organza violet ribbon with heart charm and embellishments from stash. Really like this and think i will make various other colours in it.

Elvis neighbours birthday card

This is the card i made not as quickly as i had thought for my neighbour. It is one of the downloads from Dotties World. I have quite a lot of these downloads and i love them. My neighbour is a great ELVIS fan so thought it would be great for the job, until my printer broke. I had planned on downloading the already coloured image but no that went down the pan as they say, so i had to use my distress inks and a few copics for coloring, paper from stash and buttons stash also. He loved it anyway even though i was dissapointed as i wanted a much more luxurious card but ended up with a quick fix as it was 12pm.

well i have been busy this week, i have made 3 little gorgeous K&Co purses with scrolls inside(these are actually my daughters birthday invitations) for her three special friends. I really enjoy making these as they are so pretty and quick to do.

NEC GOODIES

Well everyone

What a fantastic day at the NEC i have today, I went with my sis Tracy as usual but this time we both took our not so little girls anymore with us. They really enjoyed it and were also in the element just like there mums. We left them to go around on there own for a while hoping that they would look wisely and not blow there cash on rubbish, like mother like daughters they bought wisely. We all had a fun day but exhausting and came home to share what each other had bought(god this is so exciting) so here is some of the wonderful goodies i have purchased today.

I am now exhausted as usual but my daughter wants to craft and make cards all nite if only we had there energy, so all i need do now is get playing with my goodies and produce some beautiful cards.

Luxury babygirl card

This is another Luxury Babygirl card i have been making gradually this week for another one of our friends who have just been blesssed with there first daughter (ahhhh bless).

The first page, i used 12x 12 paper from my stash, circles made with compass as no nesterbilites big enough for this yet, Buttons, peel offs and gems all from stash. The flowers and ribbons are my new ones i received this week from http://www.poppicrafts.co.uk/catalog/. The letters have been embossed with my cuttlebug retro circles and then diecut on my machine.

second page is backing paper with bazzill circle and flowers from poppicraft again finished with the gorgeous 3d stickers from K&CO i love these and two tags from somewhere i found (lol)

and third page again back paper, bazzill circle but in bling this time, teddy is a diecut i purchased from ebay about 1 year ago and other embellishments from stash such as brads, buttons diecuts and wire etc.

BLOG CANDY APOLOGY

Hello everyone

Well i don't know if anyone has noticed but my blog candy i had on my blog i was offering to celebrate my first 1000 hits has dissapeared and ? where to.
I was trying to edit something about 2 nites ago and since it has dissapeared and i think the awful truth is i have deleted it by mistake along with all those of you who entered and your comments. I have tried in vain to find this but with no look. I can only therefore apologise to you all and ask that you re-enter when i place this on my blog again later. Anyway i have been to the NEC today and bought some lovely penny black stamps and Magnolia stamps so i will stamp some images to add to the blog candy this time. I do hope this doesn't put anybody off entering or re-entering as everyone makes mistakes especially when exhausted which i have been this week. I am off now to sort out my blog candy again and will be reposting in about 1 hour or before.

Hi everyone
now that i am getting into blogging and have reached my first 1000 hits please can someone help me to tidy up my blog page.
1) i would like to put all my blog candy's i enter with a piccy on the right /with the end date etc and the persons name which comes up highlighted (which links people straight to there blog) if you know what i mean. I know some of you do this and are very fluent with this to.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as i have a real fear of computers and can never seem to get things right but trying my best and have come a long way since starting bloging just 2 months ago.

RE Blog Candy

Hi everyone
well whilst i am posting this post. firstly it is because i am at nearly 950 hits and so i promised 1000 hits would be candy. secondly i have sorted my candy ready to post hopefully tomorrow but i have come down with some sort of tummy bug so it depends wether i am up sick all night(god i hope not hate sick fullstop) give me labour any time. So i off to bed shattered, pale and feeling lousy in general hopefully everybody else ok apart from all there poorly pc's which have been a pain this week including mine.

My little girls first challenge win

One stop craft challenge 18 (no Designer paper)

After a long debate about this challenge i decided to follow one of my sketches which of course ended up being completely different but i also set my goal on orange and brown as this is the latest trend and also so out of character for me. So i thought this card is going to be very boring without any designer papers and very bland but as the night got on my mind started to work overtime so. I used orange and brown plain card, which i used my cuttlebug embossing folders on some and left the other bits plain, i used my rectangle nestability to give a fancy edge to the card, buttons, flowers and strands of fibres and ribbon, then i thought omg what image could possibly go with crazy and bright card then i thought nothing more than one of my dolly mamas. perfect for the job. I used copics, distress inks and le plum pens(until i get my new pro-markers) then i placed a feather in her hat and glazed to make her stand out.

Well i am chuffed to bits with the end result and hope you like too.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 5 Christmas

I have used my sisters pro-markers and i now love them to colour my sugar nellie image, i have added holly peeloffs, gems and glitter for extra christmas sparkle, i did have to get all my christmas stuff back out to do this design although i did enjoy doing it and happy with the finished result.
