This my card for this weeks sketch challenge at OCC and what a fab sketch it was to work to. This is the first time i ever used my WOJ stamp thats been in the cupboard for ages and will be using again.
This is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Stamp with Stampavie where this week the colours are black and yellow. I have used the new trendy lollipop flowers on my card(didn't like them originally) but love them now.
This is my card for this weeks challenge over at Dies 2 Die 4 I enjoyed doing this nice and simple sketch for a change, very different to my usal cards, find it hard sometimes not to over do it with embellishments so i hope this fits the bill, some fantastic prizes check it out your not to late yet.
This is my entery for this weeks first ever challenge at Passion for Promarkers I haven't actually got any pro-markers so today i have been to my sisters for the day and borrowed hers to colour in my Tilda for this challenge. I have listed below the ones i have used. I do love these pens but find it hard to blend and so therefore ned lots of practice so need to invest in some of these asap. Everything used on this card is all my sisters craft stash(bless her) as our craft session is tomorrow nite, but i had to pick up the gorgeous cake (Ben 10) she has made for my son her nephew Jacob. Check it out on her blog (Tracy) fingers and toes crossed for some of these yummy prizes this week.

This is my entery for this weeeks challenge over at Roses on Paper and i am well into making cards for the male population now and just love this Quarterback Ian Stamp. Although as i didn't follow a sketch i was a little challenged at first but dead chuffed with the result and will be making lots of these in different colours to keep in my birthday card box.
This is an A4 size card for my sons 5th birthday tomorrow andit fits in nicely this week with two challenges. the first being ABC which is the letter O meaning orderly and you have too use something twice(ie if you use a flower you have to use another on your card) i Have used a football on the front and on the inside of my card so hope this counts. The second challenge is Cute card challenge where the theme this week is to use a sporting image and i think George as the footballer will do just nicely, i have blown him up on the computer to quite a large footballer to fit nicely on this A4 card and i have also downloaded a football clipart which i have also blown up bloth on the fron t and the inside. My little boy will be estatic when he opens this and i have even made him a special medal that can be detached to wear all day at school(awwwww bless). I am very proud of myself.
Well i just had to enter this weeks challenge over at Friday Sketchers There sketch is fantastic and the prize this week is from Elyzebells and what gorgeous stamps they are for one lucky winner. Anyway i am getting a bit fedup of using the same old stamps now and can't afford any till pay day on friday(this week) ye haaaaaaaaaa. So i thought i would use one of my lovely Dolly Mamas, they are so funny especially this one as it rings true in my house. By the way i decided to use my sewing machine and checked it on scrap paper first and everything fine, then it just decided to be mean and ruin my stitching line(but still showing everyone) as we are not all perfect in the world including me(lol). Looking forward to purchasing some gorgeous new papers from the Glitter pot and probably some new Magnolia boys or Sugar Nellie but then again i do want the new anya girls, perhaps i might win the lottery(he he) then i'll buy them all.
Well i made this quick card last night and have just realised the colours fit in with this weeks challenge over at Dutch Dare Blue-White and one other colour which i have used green and think these colours work well.
Well you best go check out this challenge over at the Sugar Bowl They are celebrating there one year anniversary and not only that check out the gorgeous prizes for entering this weeks challenge in celebration of there one year blog. So the theme was simply to make a celebration card, very easy to do, will be making lots of these kinds of cards in various colours for my daughters friends birthdays that will be popping up over the next few months, although i could use some of the new stamps at the Sugar bowl if i won (lol). hugs Debra
I am entering this card for three challenges this week, thats amazing for me i only normally do two at the most (lol). The first is Just Magnolia where there is a beautiful sketch to fllow which is what i have based the card layout on, the second is for One Stop Craft Challenge where the colours are pink and brown which my colour theme is and finally the last challenge is Secret Crafter where you need to use glitter of some kind and i have glittered Tildas wings with stickles.
This is my card for this weeks challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar and what a delightful sketch to work to, i have rotated mine for a different effect and the challenge was to use buttons galore , so i have used my pretty pink flower buttons and i just love this image of Tilda(thanks Katie)
Don't you just love working to deadlines? I decided to start this challenge at 8pm tonight then realised it had to be entered by 9pm(yikes) adrenaline going ten to a dozen now. So i not blabber on before i miss the deadline (he he). But this is my card for this weeks challenge over at Basic Grey
This is my card for this weeks challenge over at creative card crew where this week it is MINIMAL. I just never seem to do minimal on my cards so this was a challenge for me, so i thought nothing better than to design a wedding invitation as the season is fast approaching. I have even left the inside blank apart from a velum sleeve and white insert just to finish of. All the stuff used is from my stash. Very poor pic(my camera is rubbish and the lighting very poor. I have used pink bazzill card, white very glittery card(doesn't show in in pic perhaps you can zoom in for a closer look), flowers, ribbon and stamp for the sentiment, all layered up onto a pure white linen card for that luxury feel.
This is a commissioned A4 large sized card from my hubbies work. I have used one of my lovely Kanban ladies, i did a card simular to this a few weeks ago for my daughters birthday and it was admired by so many peeps that i have done another, all the papers and card are from my scrap box, prima flowers and hand punched flowers, charm and sherbet dots.
This is my card for this weeks challenge over at Just Magnolia where this weeks challenge is to use some stitching. This is my second card this week i have practiced my stitching on and the more i do the more i'll improve, i do love this new way of making cards i have to admit and will probably be using it a lot in the future when i can get prefection(lol). I have based it on Marlenes sketch at the sugar bowl as this was so great to work to, i have used SU papers, sew machine, stamped magnolia image, nesties and other stuff from stash.
This is my card for this weeks sketch challenge set by Marlene over at the The sugar bowl . I have ised a stamped image from my box and coloured with copics and sakura pens, I have stitched on my card for the first time ever, i love the effect but still need lots of practice can't seem to do straight(lol), Bg cupcake papers and bazzill card rest of embelishments etc from stash.
I am entering this card for two challenges this week, the first being Creative Card Crew which this week you need to use embossing of some kind and the second challenge is One Stop Craft Challenge where there theme is to cut it out. well I have used embossing with my cuttlebug emboss folder fort he sky and i have cut out my boy and log, these were images i received in a swap, i have used SU paers, buttons, ribbons, sherbet dots etc all from stash.
This is my take on this weeks challenge over at Just magnolia I have used one of my tilda stamped images, nestibilties, su papers, stickles, sizzlits scribbles and swirls die, ribbon, gems, brads, tags etc all from stash and inside of card from leftover scraps as always. I have also made another magnet note board to go with it(card only for Just magnolis challenge not memo board) as this is for my friend and neighbours birthday tomorrow, did do originally a black and pink one but did this one today to match the cad for the perfect handcrafted gift, sorry poor pic but put into cellophane bag and sealed before i took a pic(nelly i am)
I bought this K&Co kit decades ago and thought i would make it up(pic 1). It cost about £7.95 which was expensive i thought but i thought i would just use it as a template. Anyways it took about all of 5 mins to make and i love it and can't bare to part with it (lol). So as planned i made a template and have also made my own version for my neighbours birthday which is the glitzy pink and black version, took longer obviously as i had to cut out pieces etc and of all the things i haven't used i years i could have really done with my thingy (lol) now whats it blooming called. The xyron machine you put papers through to make it sticky, oh and i now i have thought of something else i could have used. Typical isn't it (the double sided a4 sheets would have also been perfect) never mind i'll remember next time. please enlighten me on what the machine thingy is please ? creative station ring any belles?
This is my take on this weeks sketch by Maggie Bob on there first challenge over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp and what a fab sketch to work to. I have used my sparkly sweet K&Co DP for a change, stamped image from my lovely sister(she kept this well hidden i tell ya)ribbons, sherbet dots, flowers and brads all from stash. nesties for scallop plaque and pearly stuff for the edging.
I am Debra but known as Debbie to most. I am a single parent to three beautiful children. Olivia 11, Jacob 6 and Declan 3. I look forward to enetering many challenges and making new friends along the way. I like to share tips and ideas but please do not copy my work and use in mag competitions etc. If you visit me please leave a little comment good or bad on my work otherwise how can i improve without your opinions and i can also take a look at your work to.
