Since returning back to blogland after a difficult time, i am trying to sort out my blog.
I am trying to delete all the blogs i am following(in the lefthand side of my dashboard) sounds harsh i know but it is easier for me to do this and then re-add peeps. I have pressed manage, then settings and removed etc but there still showing in my lefthand column on the dashboard screen and i do not know why?
any help asap appreciated before i go mentle or throw the computer out the open window at the side of me.

Hi Debbie, Nice to know you are still there. With regard to removing the blogs on your blog roll, did you remember to click on SAVE before coming out of that particular bit of your dashboard? Unless you click SAVE it will revert to how things were before you altered them. Hope that solves your problem.

Hi Debbie! Okay, so going into Google Reader and trying to unsubsribe doesn't seem to work (I've just tried it myself!), so unfortunately you're going to have to stop following each blog separately ... which will take a bit of time, urgh!
ReplyDeleteSo...go to your dashboard and click on the blue 'Manage' button. For each blog you no longer wish to follow (so you'll need to do this for each one), click on the 'settings' link beside the blog address which should bring up a new page, then click on the 'stop following this site' link. You should be presented with a little 'stop following' pop up window, so click on the 'stop following' button, and you're done! No saving required.
This method always works for me! Yes, it's going to take a lot longer than using google reader, but you will be guaranteed that it will work!
