addicted to blogging and tea

Since i started blogging 2 weeks tomorrow, i seem to have become addicted to tea and keep sitting on my computer dunking biscuits in all the time, not good for the waste line but i am so addicted to this blogging. Think i better get my fingers busy cutting, stamping, and sticking and get some challenges entered and cards made instead. I have new stamps arriving any day now so that should keep me busy for a while.

catch you all soon when i upload my my cards with my new stamps when they arrive

  1. Hi Debra - I know what you mean about blogging being addictive! I've managed to keep away from dunking the biscuits tho, but not sure for how long, lol! Thanks for visiting my blog and for your lovely comment. I didn't use a template for the romper suit, it's actually created from a doodlebat (dingbat) from Scrapnfont. If you check out my blog here there is a direct link through to the 'Sweet baby clothes' doodlebat. I just use them in powerpoint and enlarge them to the size I need. They're a bit time consuming and fiddly bit well worth the effort I think, and once you've got them set up then the hard work is done! There are some really cute dresses, bibs, bootees, dungarees etc so I'm hoping to try out some more with them. Hope that answers your question but if there's anything else you want to know just pop by and I'll help were I can!

  2. Hi honey, have had a wee look at your links & they are all working ok so you're doing that right...

Are you listed on crafty blogs as I can't tell from your blog..

Are you going to enter The Sugar Bowl challenge this week? If so I'll make sure all your links work on that too.

Let me know what challenges you have entered so I can check them for you and then we'll work on getting you up & running. Don't be disheartened as it does take a while to get going. I've been working my butt off for 2 weeks now trying to get back in action as my blog ratings dropped when I was ill.

A good thing to do is offer some blog candy like I'm doing... we all love the chance of winning something... put in some ribbons, flowers etc & some stamped images... you can just use the stamps you have onto card then cut them into squares for people to colour themselves... this is a great way of sharing as lots of people won't have the images that you have...

Don't worry kiddo we'll soon have you rolling.

  3. Morning honey, ok your tasks for today are as follows...

    1. Go to www.craftyblogs.co.uk this is a list of a whole load of bloggers in the UK (over 800). On the left hand box there is a section that says "Join", click here & follow the instructions... this will then put you on the list & you put a box on your blog. If you look at my blog you will see it just below my challenge diary...

    2. Modify your profile page to include your email address... this way if anyone wants to get in touch with you direct then they can email... lots of us send personal emails to one another as well as blog messages.

    3. Visit everyone who has posted on the Sugar Bowl challenge and leave them a little note. This way they get your URL & can come visit you in return.

Once you're up & running you'll be amazed at how close a network we are... we laugh together & cry together... if you have a problem we will help & in times of sorrow we'll help dry the tears... before & after my surgery last year it was all my blogging buddies that really kept me going.
