I am not to sure about these pro markers that everyone raves about, my sister loves them and has gradually been building up her load of them, so last nite whilst we were having a crafty nite i tried using them to colour onr of my images but i just couldn't get on with them, i don't think they blend very easily like my watercolour pencils. Maybe its a case of the more i use the more i experiment i may gain to like them but for now i will give them a miss and i think i would like to try the distressing inks or the copics instead. How does everyone find them? or do you prefer the copics or distressing inks?

Hi Debbie!
ReplyDeletePersonally I'm a pencil girl, though I do like my prisma markers. I think the pencils blend nicer and you have a wider range of shades! I guess it's great we have so many choices for our crafting! Have a lovely day!
Blessings, Maria
Hi Debra..I am a big fan of the Copics..they are expensive I know but the colours are so rich and vibrant and I find them easy to work with and blend. Debbie x
ReplyDeletehey there, i have promarkers and copic ciaos, i have copic sketch markers too but they dont come out of the cupboard because i find it hard to hold them - but i love my copic Ciaos- they are so vibrant and blend amazingly - i have all 144 pens and the blender and they are amazing - however i do like my promarkers too - i have the full range of these too and i find promarkers sometimes are better for skin tones or some more suttle shading

Hi Debbie, I'm not too sure about the promarkers, I think I would need a bit more practise but love the distress inks and even the marvy pens with water. Donna x
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, I don't have any experience with promarkers or copics, but I have just got some distress inks and I love them. I have also got some whispers pens and I scribble onto a tile and then use my water brush to pick up the ink and that works great. I've also recently bought a blender for my whispers pens, so I'm going to have a practice with that as I find blending and shading with pens difficult.
