This is the card i made for my hubby for valentines day. I havent done a recipe because most of the stuff i used was from my scrap box and i have forgot the image name (naughty) i know, but it has been such a while since i did any cards until of late. I am sure someone will enlighten me.

Well finally got my computer working again but for how long your guess is as good as mine.

Totally hacked of withit to say the least. Well as you know i haven't bloggd or crafted for a while and it just goes to show, i wondered what the messages thing was at the top of my dashboard so clicked it and there you have it 13 messages waiting for me to authorise lol. Didn't even know i had to do this, i took that letter thing of (if you know what i mean) ? authentication last time i was in blogland many months ago (did wonder why no one had commented lol, but now i know (he he). Thanks for all the comments it is really encouraging as i nearly just sold all my craft stuff but hubby persuaded me to keep until i picked up again ( thank goodness he did) i must have been crazy lol.
Well looking forward to this year after 2 rubbish ones think we will b a complete family again, better health and a new career (whoop, whoop). i must update my profile and pic now that i am a glamourous qualified beauty therapist (head swells) lol.

This is another card i made at my sisters house at the weekend and is a boys card. I have used

the great sketch over at Sketch Saturday. I used Football Luca by Sugar Nellie and kept is very simple and used mainly scraps from my stash, peel offs and promarkers to colour, althoguh i still needs lots of practise with these lol, prefer copics but can't afford them sadly.

This is the first card i have made in many months. First i had no motivation, then i couldn't upload the cards i had made because of my new computer (useless with them) lol. Then college work, fulltime mum and finally a major operation (few). Well just recovering from operation 7 weeks post. Anyways started this card at the weekend at my sisters house and see that it fits in with the JUGS challenge so thought i would enter it if i remember how to do it lol. They have a set colours Peach, Duck egg and Green. This is the first time i have entered this challenge as far as i know and my card is these colours hope you can see the green stripes in the background paper. I am also entering this for PollY Craft Monday, which is Pastel colours for this weeks challenge and final challenge at secret crafter is Love. Most stuff used from my scrap box, one of my favourite Sarah Kay images and embellishments from stash. Well hopefully this works and hope to add more cards soon. Good to be back and will check out my buddie blogs asap.

Well after finally sorting out the correct paper for my digi downloads with the wonderful help from the very talented and extremely helpful and friendly Bev. I also received my promarkers the next day from Joanna Sheen, only ordered about 4pm day before so was estatic. So i got to work with colouring in my digi and amazing how they look when coloured with the right medium and correct paper (lol). So i now have three cards wanting to be shown (one of my poor colouring ones with old cheap paper etc) so you can see the difference, i think it is good to show mistakes as well as positive work (lol) as we all have them. Anyways after all my rambling on, yes you guessed it the flaming comp playing up now (screams with frustration) so hopefully he will work later and you can finally see some of my work since returning back to bloggyland.

Just to let you all know i have removed WORD VERIFICATION, after reading several blogs, i also find this very time consuming and now i have removed it once i get my cards uploaded people will visit me again (lol). Hi everyone
Since returning back to blogland after a difficult time, i am trying to sort out my blog.
I am trying to delete all the blogs i am following(in the lefthand side of my dashboard) sounds harsh i know but it is easier for me to do this and then re-add peeps. I have pressed manage, then settings and removed etc but there still showing in my lefthand column on the dashboard screen and i do not know why?
any help asap appreciated before i go mentle or throw the computer out the open window at the side of me.

Hello my lovely bloggy friends

I know it has been a long time since you have heard from me, but i am doing really well.
I have just finished a beauty therapy course and will be qualified in 4 weeks time (yippee). I am still single with my three beautiful but tiring children (lol). I am looking forward to getting back into blogging, card making and entering some challenges and need to get my craft stuff up to date.
Havent got a clue what i have been missing and what's new in the crafty world (lol). Any help, advise, tips or sites do enlighten me. As most of you know i am seperating from my husband and it has been a few tricky months in this house to say the least. But I finally have a house and will be moving into it tomorrow(yipppeeeeee) and my children will follow me a week later and then it is half term. So i will need to get connected to a new server hopefully BT this time as virgin been a flaming nightmare. So hope you all miss me and hopefully i will be back after half term or maybe before who knows, but i will try and get very creative in my new place especially as i will finally have some me time when the children go to there dads house, most weekends(lucky me eh) but long deserved.

I have really enjoyed putting this card together, therefore i am going to enter it for four challenges (my goodness) that is amazing for me (lol). So the first challenge is Saturday secret Crafter

where it is One for the Girls for this weeks challenge and i think this is definately a girly card (he he), the second would be Our Creative Corner

where there challenge is a colour combo and one of my favouritesi have to say(lucky me).

the third is High Hopes

where of course the challenge is to use your favourite High Hopes Stamp. Forth challenge has to be creative Card crew, where it is to decorate the inside of your card. (phew) think i covered everything, it is harder to do a post for four cards than actually make a card(what do you lot think?

I made this card last night for my BIL birthday, he is going to be the big 50. He is crazy about golf. I based this card on Sems sketch from last weeks Sunday Sketch and Stamp as i just love this layout, it is so versatile. Layered the embossed circles to look like golf balls and also the Kanban Pearls are supposed to give the golf ball effect also. hope you like.

Three Beautiful children back to school

Just a quick posting of my three beautiful children. They are finally back to school and pre-school today after quite a stressful summer. But they are all excited and seem happy and loved to pose for the photo in there new uniforms. Olivia is 10 and in her last year of juniors, Jacob is five and just gone up to year 1 and finally my little rogue Declan who is 21/2 and loves his pre-school, thank goodness as it gives me a little time to myself.

Feeling very sad

Hi everyone
Just thoguht i would let my bloggy friends know why my cards have dropped a lot lately. I am in the middle of seperating from my husband, although i am still living with him till a house gets sorted within hopefully the next few weeks. This is a very difficult time for myslf and family especially our 3 beautiful childen, we have tried our best to save our 12 year marraige and total relationship of 18 years but it can be no more i am afraid to say. I am now gong to be a lone parent with 3 children and have therefore decided to study 2 A levels in the hope i can better my future for the sake of our children and myself. I am an emotional reck at the moment and find it hard as we still live in the same house and just don't know how i am going to build my life again, i met him when i was just 15 years old and the world has changed so much i am so scared but need to be strong for the children, i will try to focus on my card making when i have moved and settled and will occasionally blog hop until i have my full strength back. I hope you understand and don't all dissapear and leave me i will be blogging but maybe not as much.

I placed an order back on August the 1st and i am still awaiting some follow up items that were out of stock. I have tried to email them but it won't work and also tried ringing them and there mailbox is full which is a bit strange, so i thought i would see if anyone else has had any problems?

My First Diary

I really enjoyed making my first homemade Diary. I know it's a bit late in the year but i am finding i need a day to day diary at the moment, and as i loved the Lilly of the Valley sketch so much and my final result of my card the other night, i thought i would do a slightly adjusted version and add lots of ribbons to create my adorable new diary.

My daughter woke this morning to find it on the table and loved it and asked who it was for and looked gobsmacked when i said it was for myself (lol), she thought i had made it for someone else.

I am entering my card for four challenges this week, woohoo this has to be the first for me. This is my card for this weeks challenge over at Penny black where there is a beautiful sketch to work to. I have made this card for my niece who@s birthday is coming up as she loves to sing and dance, so i thought this stamped image would be perfect with the dancing girl and i have added a princess crown charm (pop princess). I have used my new Euphoria basic grey papers and then used them for her trousers and top to co-ordinate and give the hippy feel was my intention. Anyways throughly enjoyed doing this card.

This is my card i am entering for this weeks challenge over at Allsorts where the lovely Dawny p has done this sketch and we also have to work to the theme Marshmellows and chocolate. So my card is therefore pink/brown/white.
I have used my gorguss girls which i have masked to give the threesome although i have to say this is the third time of doing it. My copics seem to be drying out and they ruined my first attempt, the second attemp i tried something else and again it got ruined so for the third attempt i used my water colours and i am not happy but gave up in the end(defeated). Anyways a basic card for me think i have lost me mojo a little and also suffering from whiplash due to someone ramming into my car at the weekend quite hard (didn't realise it was so painful) so i blaming it on that (lol). Anyways i don't think it'sto bad a job and at least i have managed to create a card.

This is my favourite picnic basket. I have used my gorgeous K&Co papers. I have pleated the papers around the edge to give an elegant feel to it and also added some pearly stuff to the scallop edging(zoom in). This basket is for an older and elegant teacher and i thought this would fit the bill just right for her, i think it has the elegant but vintage feel to it and i love the pleating i added to the edging and will be using this again, fnally i added a name plaque to the front using my oval nesties.

These are just a few pics of the gifts i have been making all week for the teachers as thank you presents from my children. I have decorated two labels in a cricket theme and a chocolate orange with a cricket theme label also. I have done several other picnic baskets for diffrent teachers also.

This is a custom made card for my usual customer. I really enjoyed the challenge and have used my all time favourite for male cards and that is George. He is so versatile and so talented at all the sports and jobs he has (he he) and always suits my card designs perfectly. As usual my camera has let me down and doesn't do my work any justice and if it wasn't for the 3d view photo it would just look plain boring flat but it is raised. This ties in niceley with this weeks challenge over at Dotties world(i think) where Tara has chosen Frames for the challenge this week, hope that the frame fits with this.

Hi Everyone
As you all know i started back to work as a fulltime Dental Nurse after landing myself a brill job. I was so proud of myself for getting this post after not nursing for 11 years and this was my first interview so i was chuffed to bits. Anyways i have done two days work and love it and they love me, but that is short lived as i have now had to tell them i can no longer do it due to childcare costs. I cried myself to sleep last nite as i am iam completely devastated. There seems to be no childminders in my area that will pick up and take to school and the after school clubs just want to rip me of off charging £10.50 per child for 2 hours minding so it would cost me £9 per morning, £21 per after school and £30 for my 21/2 year old son for nursery per day. Can anyone else justify this. So the only way i could possibly work would be to leave my husband and then i would be paid so many benefits etc and childcare would be paid and free school dinners. It is so wrong. Any one can you advise i so want to go back to work and no i cannot qualify for tax credits as my hubby works. So what shall i do? I have lost all will power to do anything as i just keep hitting a brick wall and just can't seem to get stuck into a card to cheer me up either.

Hi Everyone
Sorry not been around, but i have been a busy bee. I went for my first interview after about 11 years and guess what i got the job(couldn't believe it). I am a qualified dental nurse but haven't done since 1997 and i have managed to bag myself a job(wicked). I have been running around sorting childcare arrangements for my 3 children (not easy) and of course sorting out my Blooming piece of a junk car finally. Anyways i am working more for my own sanity and not for financial gain as the childcare will cost £800 + per month(extortionate). I have made a few commisioned cards this week and have also done a couple of GDT cards for my Guest Designer Spot with WOJ for a whole month. anyways hope to keep up with my blogging and card making but some how think i might be quite shattered after my first week at work (lol) but so excited yet nervous. This is a birthday present i have made for my son to give to his friend on her birthday. Well as usual i have had all week to get a present and left it to the last minute and then couldn't get out of the house due to car being broken again. So i thought what the hell could i do as little 5 year old girls want presents and not money. so i decidedto make a beautiful box full of lots of crafting goodies, from ribbons/gems/images/stamped images/toppers, cards/envelopes/pegs/flowers etc. I am sure she will be delighted with it as i asked my 10 year olds opinion and ahe said she would love it. So i haven't done much crafting for 2 weeks but certainly have made up for it these past 3 days lol. This is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Dare you to digi stamp
where you have to create a scenery and this father's day card fits the bill perfect. I have even done one of these kinds of cards for the first time(what are they called)? Used one of my favourite downloads of George at work from charmed downloads. I have made the shredded grass myself but will have to invest in the MS Icicle punch as ths would work great for my grass that i use a lot. Shed was just made from scraps of card and given an effect of wood with my copics, the stickers have been in my stash for about 3-4 years bless them had to brush of the cobwebs lol. i am very pleased with the overall finish and this was a card i made for Olivia to give to her dad on father's day as she couldn't be bothered to make her own (lazy). She'll go crackers if she reads my blog (lol)

I hope the background looks ok, it is actually trees i have masked but they look a little like scribble now i have uploaded them (lol). This is a commissioned card by my regular customer. Sorry about the poor photos i am having a nightmare taking them and had to do this with the night mode on as they kept glaring otherwise. Anyways this is the first i have ever made a laptop 3d card before and i am chuffed with the finished results, don't really know how this all came together but it did (lol). I used a flat packed box and lid and all sorts of scrap cards from my stash, all the embellishments etc are from my stash to, photo is the cutomer young boy who is 21 on Wednesday hence the 21st key on the cover of the laptop, he his a computer nerd(pardon my slang) according to his mum. hope to make a female version next ime in pink of course. hugs Debra

Cute Card Thursday # 61/ABC challenge(O)

This is an A4 size card for my sons 5th birthday tomorrow andit fits in nicely this week with two challenges. the first being ABC
which is the letter O meaning orderly and you have too use something twice(ie if you use a flower you have to use another on your card) i Have used a football on the front and on the inside of my card so hope this counts. The second challenge is Cute card challenge
where the theme this week is to use a sporting image and i think George as the footballer will do just nicely, i have blown him up on the computer to quite a large footballer to fit nicely on this A4 card and i have also downloaded a football clipart which i have also blown up bloth on the fron t and the inside. My little boy will be estatic when he opens this and i have even made him a special medal that can be detached to wear all day at school(awwwww bless). I am very proud of myself.

Well i just had to enter this weeks challenge over at Friday Sketchers
There sketch is fantastic and the prize this week is from Elyzebells and what gorgeous stamps they are for one lucky winner. Anyway i am getting a bit fedup of using the same old stamps now and can't afford any till pay day on friday(this week) ye haaaaaaaaaa. So i thought i would use one of my lovely Dolly Mamas, they are so funny especially this one as it rings true in my house. This is my card for this weeks challenge over at creative card crew where this week it is MINIMAL. I just never seem to do minimal on my cards so this was a challenge for me, so i thought nothing better than to design a wedding invitation as the season is fast approaching. I have even left the inside blank apart from a velum sleeve and white insert just to finish of. All the stuff used is from my stash. Very poor pic(my camera is rubbish and the lighting very poor.
I have used pink bazzill card, white very glittery card(doesn't show in in pic perhaps you can zoom in for a closer look), flowers, ribbon and stamp for the sentiment, all layered up onto a pure white linen card for that luxury feel.

This is my second card this week i have practiced my stitching on and the more i do the more i'll improve, i do love this new way of making cards i have to admit and will probably be using it a lot in the future when i can get prefection(lol). This is my card for this weeks sketch challenge set by Marlene over at the The sugar bowl . I have ised a stamped image from my box and coloured with copics and sakura pens, I have stitched on my card for the first time ever, i love the effect but still need lots of practice can't seem to do straight(lol), Bg cupcake papers and bazzill card rest of embelishments etc from stash.

Creative Card Crew challenge 9/

I am entering this card for two challenges this week, the first being Creative Card Crew
which this week you need to use embossing of some kind and the second challenge is One Stop Craft Challenge
where there theme is to cut it out.
well I have used embossing with my cuttlebug emboss folder fort he sky and i have cut out my boy and log, these were images i received in a swap, i have used SU paers, buttons, ribbons, sherbet dots etc all from stash.

Just Magnolia week3

This is my take on this weeks challenge over at Just magnolia
I have used one of my tilda stamped images, nestibilties, su papers, stickles,sizzlits scribbles and swirls die, ribbon, gems, brads, tags etc all from stash and inside of card from leftover scraps as always. I have also made another magnet note board to go with it(card only for Just magnolis challenge not memo board) as this is for my friend and neighbours birthday tomorrow, did do originally a black and pink one but did this one today to match the cad for the perfect handcrafted gift, sorry poor pic but put into cellophane bag and sealed before i took a pic(nelly i am)

Magnetic Board

I bought this K&Co kit decades ago and thought i would make it up(pic 1). It cost about £7.95 which was expensive i thought but i thought i would just use it as a template. Anyways it took about all of 5 mins to make and i love it and can't bare to part with it (lol). So as planned i made a template and have also made my own version for my neighbours birthday which is the glitzy pink and black version, took longer obviously as i had to cut out pieces etc and of all the things i haven't used i years i could have really done with my thingy (lol) now whats it blooming called. The xyron machine you put papers through to make it sticky, oh and i now i have thought of something else i could have used. Typical isn't it (the double sided a4 sheets would have also been perfect) never mind i'll remember next time. please enlighten me on what the machine thingy is please ? creative station ring any belles?

Sunday Sketch and Stamp #1

This is my take on this weeks sketch by Maggie Bob on there first challenge over at Sunday Sketch & Stamp
and what a fab sketch to work to. I have used my sparkly sweet K&Co DP for a change, stamped image from my lovely sister(she kept this well hidden i tell ya)ribbons, sherbet dots, flowers and brads all from stash. nesties for scallop plaque and pearly stuff for the edging.

Basic Grey Challenge 33/Raspberry Ribbons #20

This is my card for the basic grey challenge where this weeks challenge is a colour combination of Black/Grey +1 other colour of your choice and i chose Red and also Raspberry ribbons challenge I have used my Basic grey papers Ambrosia (well actually these were my sisters) i used last nite on our card making session, i have used one of my gorjuss girls stamps with the skeleton i her hair and i wanted to add a skeleton charm to the ribbon or a row of skeletons for the ribbon but just didn't have anything suitable(never mind). i have used my su scallop punch and sentiments for the text.
